Abstract
This paper summarises the work of the IUCN WGWAP since the last IWC Scientific Committee meeting with a focus on: (a) seismic-related issues; (b) acoustic monitoring; (c) feeding conditions; (d) population studies; (e) cumulative effects; (f) the future of WGWAP; and (g) the recent change in status of western gray whales in Russian Federation.
