Full Title

Further Geneland analyses of the Japanese microsatellite DNA dataset on North Pacific minke whales in the context of putative parent-offspring pairs

Author

A. Rus Hoelzel and Menno de Jong

Abstract

The purpose of the analysis reported in this short paper was to extend the application of the program Geneland for WNP minke whales reported in SC/F19/WNPM/02 and SC/F19/WNPM/08 to assess the origin of putative parent offspring pairs reported in SC/67A/SDDNA/01. Given the resolution possible, results were consistent with expectations for some limited level of gene flow among differentiated populations.
