Abstract
In 2019, the IWC Scientific Committee adopted new standards for the presentation of abundance estimates. Two estimates of 2019 abundance for Bering-Chukchi-Beaufort (BCB) Seas bowhead whales are being presented to the Scientific Committee at its 2020 meeting. This paper compares those estimates using the new standards.
