The paper presents a new abundance estimate for humpback whales in the Central North Atlantic based on the 2015 NASS shipboard survey. Account is taken of suggestions made by an Intersessional Correspondence Group (ICG) established at SC 67A that met via teleconference. A revised abundance estimate is also presented from the TNASS-2007 survey according to suggestions made by the ICG.
