The paper Progress Report on the North Atlantic Humpback Whale Catalog (NAHWC) provides an update on the NAHWC since the last meeting of the Photo-ID working group of the IWC SC in 2021. Since then, 7,899 photos of 3,497 individuals have been added to the catalog. In total the NAHWC now includes over 50,000 photos of 11,690 individual non-calf humpback whales. A summary of recent findings on the movement patterns, methodological updates, and publications is included.
