Abstract

This report details the current knowledge and analysis of 21 years of finless porpoise stranding data across Taiwan, documented between the years of 2000 - 2020. There has been an overall increase in strandings and there is a need to develop effective conservation strategies rather than try to implement remedial action for these species that have been neglected for too long.
