The application of RMP for management requires that abundance estimates are provided regularly. Norway has established a survey program to meet this requirement for its management of minke whaling by arranging annual partial surveys over six-year periods. Here we announce the start of a new six-year period 2020-2025 with the aim of presenting a new abundance estimate of Northeastern Atlantic minke whales in 2026.
